Things I Love Tuesday: Turn Lock Satchel Turns Heads

Every once in a while, I'll wake up and think I want a new purse. The feeling usually comes once a new season starts and the one in the previous season becomes boring to the point I want something shiny and new. This happened to me a few weeks ago, however my reasoning for a new purse went deeper than just wanting something shiny to carry. I noticed that my older purse, a Dooney and Bourke Shopper tote, was just too heavy for me to carry. So, I searched up and down on the Internet. I also searched many local stores, and finally fell in love with this bag here. The Vera Bradley Turn Lock Satchel.I've had many Vera Bradley purses before, so I've decided that this would be the perfect bag for me.
I got it Thursday and I'm in love with it. I changed my purse the second it came in. So far, I love it. It's still a little big, but it still holds the essentials. It even has enough room for my iPad or some books. It has many compartments and pockets, which is good for staying organized. (I like to keep my bag organized, so this is perfect.) Plus, the satchel style adds a bit of sophistication, in my opinion.
Overall, if you're looking for a new purse to use, this is perfect. It's lightweight, holds a lot of stuff and if you look carefully affordable. I got mine at eBay for $25, but you can find them anywhere that has discounted Vera Bradley. Even if you have to pay full price, I still think this is a style that is definitely worth it.

Things I Love Thursday; Dooney and Bourke Shopper Tote

Dooney and Bourke is one of the best purse brands in my opinion. It's one of the best brands because the purses last forever, despite the hefty price tag.
One of my favorite purses by them is the shopper tote. The shopper tote, can be in leather or nylon. I own two of them-one in black and one in yellow flowers. I like these totes because they can fit everything you need in more. I'm talking about an iPad, water bottle, planner, and all of the big things. One of the things that's hard for me to find in a purse is finding one that's big enough to fit everything I needed. I carried this to school everyday and it fit all of the things that I needed. It also was stylish enough to carry out with friends and go to work.
I recommend this bag for anyone cause it's lightweight, and it holds everything that you need. I like the black one because it goes with everything and I like the floral one because it's the perfect summer bag. It's perfect for college students or anyone looking for the perfect tote.
And I haven't told you all the best part. Since it's a Dooney, the quality is amazing. I'm talking about you can carry it everywhere and it will still look brand new. Even though Dooney and Bourke is a bit pricy, it lasts for years and years. Which is what I want in a purse, so I am willing to spend the extra dough. (On occasion, or like the black one, I got as a gift.)
What's your favorite purse? Let me know in the comments below!

Things I Love Thursday; Vera Bradley Glenna Tote

It's safe to say that when it comes to purses I am very picky. It's hard for me to find a purse that literally makes me so excited that I jump up and down for it. When I do, I literally want to jump up and down with it.
I walked into my town's  Hallmark, which carries Vera Bradley items, not expecting to buy anything, but I did expect to attempt to find a purse. I expected to fail though because I had wanted to purchase a purse, but couldn't find one. So, I fell in love with the bag pictured above. And after using it for school for a few days I absolutely love it.
I reccomend this purse for pretty much everyone. I like it because I have an iPad, and finding a bag that actually fits it is a probelm. I also like it that it has a zipper, because for me it adds the added security. It has many pockets, because sometimes I want things ready as soon as possible. For example, if I want to have a pen, then it's available for me. I lose pens so its nice not to dig in my bag to look for it. There's a zipper compartment that's huge and can fit a lot of stuff. The other side has really big pockets, and can fit things such as gum, lotion, and iPod.
This purse costs $80, but most places have sales on older patterns. It comes in colorful patterns, so you can get one that fits what you're into. I got the English Rose Pattern because it matched my wristlet. I reccomend this for anyone who has a tablet, whose in college, and who just wants a big purse.
