Shows I Need to Watch On Netflix

It seems like lately I have been far behind on my TV shows for whatever reason. However, as I head back to school and the constant chaos it ensues, I know I'm going to be needing some down time. Therefore, I know that I'm finally going to cross these shows off of my list, and making sure I get the most of my money using the subscription service. Here's what I'm planning to watch (in no particular order):
  •  "New Girl," Season Four
New girl season 4 2
Via

  • "Sherlock"
Via

  • "Friends"
Via

  • "Everybody Loves Raymond"
Via

  • "That '70s Show"

New Glasses!

I've worn glasses pretty much for all of my life. Recently, I've been having trouble seeing with my old glasses, so I've decided to get them checked out. She decided that I needed new glasses. So, I've settled on these frames, which are called cat-eyed. The style was inspired by Jess' glasses from the show New Girl and Audrey Hepburn's sunglasses in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
I choose to wear glasses because I'm allergic to contacts. I've worn contacts for most of my junior year in high school, but I've always had trouble not scratching my eyes out. So, I went back to glasses senior year, except for occasions such as prom. I've worn every single style of hipster glasses known to demand, but these are honestly my favorite pair. Plus, the fact that I can see again is also a good thing!

That Time I Dressed Like Jess Day.

For Halloween, I had the best costume ever. Like seriously, and it's not even to pat my own back or anything, it was seriously that awesome. I was going to be Jess Day from New Girl. And I actually had plans to go and do something. Sound awesome? Well wait for it.
A week before Halloween, I began to have pain in my left upper leg/thigh area. Since I am fairly active, I thought I must have sprained something. However, when I went to take a shower, it was a huge red spot. Touching it caused massive amounts of pain. When I went to the doctor, I found out that I had cellutitis. That my friends, changed every bit of plans that I've had pretty much for about a few weeks. Instead, for Halloween, I was a real life couch potato.
However, I was disappointed that I had this awesome costume, and didn't wear it. So, once I got better, I did. And took pictures of it. Here's me being Jess Day, well for a day.
Whose that girl, whose that girl? It's Jess!

What Am I Binge-Watching?

Ahhh, summer vacation. Where you don't have any school work, so suddenly you're able to find time to do all of the things that you've been always trying to make time for during the school year. For some, that means catching up on your reading, hanging out with friends more, and of course just hitting up the good ol' beach every once in a while. But for me? I'm using it to catch up on my television shows.
As I mentioned in this post, I have a Netflix account and I couldn't stop watching New Girl. Since I finished watching that show, I needed to find a replacement. And Netflix, I really would like to watch the third season so get on that. Anyways, I found three.
The first show that I've been watching around the clock is PLL, also known as 'Pretty Little Liars'. I'm only on season two, so y'all keep quiet with your spoilers. I am so addicted to the show, but every now and then I stop watching so I can give the others a chance to shine. But, I would like to point out that Toby is a hottie, and I think that he and Spencer are completely perfect.

The second and third shows are a combonation because the third show is actually a spinoff. And that is none other than the bar where everybody knows your name, which is also known as 'Cheers.' I am also addicted to its spinoff 'Frasier,' although I have seen pretty much most of that show's episodes. I love watching both of those shows, so I've decided to watch it, from the very first show of 'Cheers' to the very last episode of 'Fraiser.' Yes, that's twenty years of television, but I'm prepared to take the challenge. But both of these shows are so funny if you all are looking for something to watch on Netflix.

Why It's Awesome to Be Single

It seems like everyone wants to be in a relationship, or wants us to be in a relationship. However, we don't realize something. It's okay to be single. In fact, it's really awesome to be single. Here's why it's okay to be single, and enjoy it.So many times, when people are in relationships, or even desperately want one, they often forget that it's okay to be single. And celebrate it, as Jess does in the picture above.
You can focus on you. When you're in a relationship, you often wonder what that other person wants, and want to please them. But, when you're single, you then realize what you want. If you want to go binge-watch a TV show, go ahead. If you want to go partying it up with the ladies, you don't have to worry about whose waiting for you at home. Instead, you can focus on living in the moment with your girls.
Instead of buying them presents, you can buy more things for you. Even though you like to buy your boyfriend countless things, you have got to admit that it can cost you a ton of money. Being single, you don't have to worry about that. You can spend your money on that brand new Alex and Ani, a pair of shoes, or even all of the above. Being single could be good on your wallet, unless you're a shopaholic.
You can do whatever you want! One of the things about having a boyfriend is that you're always working on seeing each other, or spending the evening out at date night. Single people? Well if you don't want to go out, then you don't have to. If you want to go out, then you go out. It's as simple as that.
You have awesome single girl music to jam out to. All the single ladies, put your hands up! Single girl music is much more fun to rock out to then love songs, don't you think?

Help, I'm Addicted to Watching New Girl

Before I begin this entry, I must say that Gabriel you were right in that I would get addicted to Netflix.
Anyways, a few weeks ago I have decided to invest in a Netflix account and stumbled upon this show called New Girl. I've watched it a bit over the summer, and really forgot about it, because it was season two. Since I didn't see season one, I got confused so I stopped caring about it. However, once I saw that Netflix had BOTH seasons and that it was my spring break, I thought what better to do than watch it...

New Girl is about a school teacher named Jess Day, whodiscovers that her boyfriend is cheating on her, so moved out. She moves in with three guys named Schmidt, Nick, and Winston. The show is about their wacky adventures, and the developing friendships between the characters.
After watching pretty much all of season one in a week, I'm hooked. I absolutely love the show. Jess has to be one of my favorite characters of all time, because she's realistic. She's played by the wonderful Zooey Deschanel. She's awkward, quirky, and perhaps crazy. However she owns that, therefore I must admit is pretty awesome. She makes everything into a song, wears super awesome glasses, and in general a super awesome person.

I also love Schmidt. He's perhaps my second favorite character, because he's super ridiculous yet super funny. The guys often pick on Schmidt because he's beyond ridiculous, a ladies man, and perhaps just a douchebag altogether. But, I think that's what makes him, well him.
If you're looking for a new show to watch, then you should watch New Girl, because it's really funny. And if you need me, I'll be on my iPad. Watching New Girl. I need help.
