Last Beach Day of the Summer

I can't believe that school is starting today. It seems like it was only yesterday when school was out, and now I'm about to start my senior year. So, last week Gabriel and I wanted to have one last hurrah before they went to Spain and I went to school to adult. We decided to make it a day filled with good food, the beach and getting a bunch of errands done.
After running to Target to get a purse, we ordered Thai food. After Gabriel got their food, we bought me a sticky bun (which was amazing) and then headed to the beach. The beach was about ten minutes away, so we were armed with fantastic tunes on the way there.
Once we got there, Gabriel and I ate our food. After eating, Gabriel went to lay in the sand and I walked around. (And took pictures.) After I got bored taking pictures, I sat down with Gabriel and we talked about life. Before leaving, we explored the beach and took a few selfies to remember the day. We then collected some sea glass and decided to head home.
This was an amazing way to celebrate the last few summer days. It was very relaxing and it was nice to spend some time with Gabriel before they head off to Spain.

Let's Go to the Beach, Beach

Panorama featuring Griffin
Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've done anything on my summer bucket list. Finally, I can cross something off, which is going to the beach!
I went to the Silver Sands Beach last Friday with Gabriel and Griffin. The weather was wonderful and the trip over there was filled with demands from Gabriel controlling the music, and Griffin playing DJ.  When we got there, the sun was shining while Gabriel was wearing a floppy hat. I was excited because I heard so much about the beach but have never gotten around to actually being there.
The beach was fun. We decided to pack pretty much half of the contents of Gabriel's house into a cooler so Gabriel and Griffin snacked on cheese and Nutella. (And other things!) We played talking games and just hung out. Soon, we decided to go for a walk and managed to walk around an entire neighborhood. After that, I decided I wanted some cookies so we headed to the local grocery store to get some.

After that, we headed home. Overall, it was an amazing day with two of my closest friends and I am so glad that I got a chance to hang out with them! I can't believe the summer is half over already and before I know it, they will be far away.

Crossing Three Things Off Of The Bucket List.

Howdy, there readers. Last week, I blogged about my summer bucket list. This week, I'm going to tell you all about how I got to cross not one or two, but three things off of my bucket list. In the matter of days mind you.
The first is taking a trip to explore downtown New Haven, which I got to do on Wednesday. I needed to take some pictures for my internship, and Gabriel was my person. After taking pictures at Gabriel's mother's workplace, we decided to go to Atticus, a local bookstore where I ended up purchasing "We Were Liars." We also got iced coffee and had a relaxing afternoon.
I took this selfie so I can blog about it ;)
I also got my S'mores frappacino. And, it was amazing. It wasn't what I expected, but it was still awesome. I definitely would get it again. Have any of you ever had it?

Finally, I got to go to the Westfarms Mall on Memorial Day with my friends Jene, Joanna, Monica's sister and Monica. We went to the mall, and I snapped up some awesome t-shirts from H &M (honestly, their stuff is awesome.) Then, we went to the Cheesecake Factory, where I had the most amazing sandwich ever.We also wandered around, and went to Charming Charlie, which was the most amazing little accessories store. (and very affordable)

Summer 2015 Bucket List

This summer, I want to get out and actually do things. It seems like during the semester, all I do is worry about how little time I have, and then don't do anything worth blogging  bragging about once the semester starts. However, this summer I want to change that by actually getting out there and doing things. Everyone, here's my Summer 2015 bucket list:
  1. Hike Sleeping Giant
  2. Read 10 books. (Or, the majority of my Summer Reading List)
  3. See fireworks on the 4th of July
  4. Go to NYC
  5. Explore Downtown New Haven
  6. Go to the Beach
  7. Go to Westfarms mall
  8. Try the new S'mores Frap at Starbucks
  9. Go to the outlets.
I've decided to make this a blogging thing, so stay tuned to see how many of these things I actually accomplish. My goal is to accomplish 2/3 of them.

Why I Can't Wait For Summer.

Summertime is finally here. Happiness and cheer.
Summer is by far my favorite season of all time. It's when I can put the textbooks away and bring out all of those happy and easy books. It's when everything suddenly becomes worry free, other then when the tide reaches your beach chair and you've become broke with the amount of lemonade you buy.
Well, this summer will have that. But, this summer has some other things to look foreword to. For starters, this is the summer that I'll be turning 21. Although I'm unsure how I'll be celebrating it but I know it's going to be awesome. I really want to go to the casino, because then I can play 21 when I turn 21. However, if I don't it's okay.
The main reason why I'm excited about the start of the summer is that I'll soon be able to see my best friend Alessia. Alessia was the foreign exchange student at my high school a few years back and lives in Italy. I haven't seen her in almost two years. On July 13, she'll be coming to America and I'm so excited to see her and catch up. We'll probably go get Fro Yo and gossip about boys. I'm so happy that we've kept in touch through out the years, and am looking foreword to seeing her again.
So, what's your summer plans? Let me know in the comments below.
