Friday Five-Best Patriotic Songs Ever!

I'm once again linking up with some awesome bloggers for the Friday Five! This Friday, I am going to tell you all about my top five favorite songs about the USA. You know, in honor of it being the Fourth of July, and all. So, sit back, and enjoy some awesome fireworks with the sounds of our favorite music, past and present blasting at your parties.
Made In The USA-Demi Lovato: Whenever I listen to this song, it just reminds me of a summer love. Nothing in my opinion is more romantic then falling in love in the summer, and of course, if you do this should be your song. The music video also kind of reminds me of the whole summer thing. Anyways, what better song to celebrate the USA with than none other than Demi Lovato?

Party In The USA-Miley Cyrus: The same thing as Demi. This song is one that has to be playing loud on your speakers at your fourth of July picnik.

Born In The USA-Bruce Springsteen: One word-classic. I pretty much love Bruce, and this song is one of my favorites.

American-Lana Del Rey: Another song for your summer love. Perfect for slow dancing, eh?

Firework by Katy Perry: You can't go to a fireworks display without hearing this song at least once.

Music Monday-Summertime Playlist

Ah, yes it's summertime. Or close to it. In the summer, there's nothing better than listening to a super awesome song while you're driving, or just chilling on the beach. #TBT-00s Hits.

Hey guys, this blog entry is picture less, because I still don't know how to add pictures on my computer. If anyone blogs from a mac, please let me know!

We all remember these songs, as if they were yesterday. They were playing on our iPod nanos, and they were on repeat. These are the songs that rocked my preteen years, on my windows computer. Here's a few of my favorites from the new millennium.

Best of Both Worlds by Hannah Montana; Before there was Miley Cyrus tweaking on the VMAs, there was Hannah Montana. And she rocked the worlds of pretty much every person in my middle school back in 2006. She was on the pink iPod nanos of many people, and the television of everything. It's safe to say I was a big Hannah fan through out my middle school days. It's kinda strange to see Miley in her wrecking ball era, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Hannah. Even though they were the same person.
Thanks for the Memories by Fall Out Boy; This was my jam the summer before 8th grade. I learned about this song I think through a commercial, and when I first got my iPod I literally listened to that song on repeat. I still actually have this song on my current iTunes, and am still a huge Fall Out Boy fan. (My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark is actually now playing on my iTunes as I type this.) However, I will always remember that first song that made me fall in love with the band. No pun intended.
Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani; Thanks to Gwen Stefani, I know how to spell the word banana. End of the story.
Lala Land by Demi Lovato; Demi was my idol even back in my freshman year of high school. Lala land and Get Back were always playing on my iPod. However, back then I didn't have the respect for her as an artist as I do now.
Lollipop by Lil Wayne; This song reminds me of my middle school days when I actually thought rap was cool. Now looking back, I know what this song actually means. Needless to say, it's not actually about candy. However, I'll be listening to this song as I'm going to my eighth grade dance. But now, I don't listen to that music. Like at all.

What's your favorite song from the 00s?

A We Are Not Alone Playlist.

You are what you listen to. Have you ever felt like there's this song out there that makes you feel better? So I've been listening to that SO MUCH lately, so I've composed a playlist, dedicating it to people who are going through things, and need assurance that they aren't alone.
I swear to God, I should be a DJ. That's like my dream job.
  1. Skyscraper by Demi Lovato
  2. Unbroken by Demi Lovato
  3. When I'm Back On My Feet Again by Michael Bolton
  4. Glitter in the Air by P!nk
  5. The Climb by Miley Cryus
  6. Liberty Walk by Miley Cryus
  7. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) by Kelly Clarkson
  8. I Don't Wanna Be by Gavin DeGraw
  9. Marry The Night by Lady GaGa
  10. Born This Way by Lady GaGa
  11. Give Your Heart Break by Demi Lovato
  12. Fucking Perfect by P!nk
Those are my songs. What are yours?
